Elmwood 1820 Bed & Breakfast Inn - Washington

The hospitality provided by John was really good, making us feel like we were staying with a friend rather than at a B&B.

The room was a bit too warm early in the morning, slightly uncomfortable.

The a double room didn't seem appealing on photos but it was lovely romantic and well decorated with the most comfortable king size bed. The breakfast was incredible, overall food was great. The staff were personable and affable and the location was UNBEATABLE in a quiet neighborhood.

The hotel was in a perfect location near the shops & restaurants of Washington and restaurants. Furthermore, in a quiet neighborhood. Units with the most comfortable king size bed.

Don't miss the chance to enjoy the open bar after 5 PM-it's a lovely way to unwind before dinner.

The room was great, but I wished for brighter lighting.

The lack of a mini fridge in the room for personal snacks was a major oversight!!! The charming outdoor area could use more comfortable seating for relaxation outside instead of just the interior lounges!!!

The king-size bed offered an really good sleeping experience, with individual controls for comfort. Mornings began delightfully with a delicious breakfast that included tropical fruits and homemade jams, fresh and vibrant. The ambiance, though tranquil, faced occasional disturbances from nearby activities, slightly detracting from the overall serene experience.

great stay but minor access issue

The Beautiful King Suite was beautifully decorated and had a very comfortable bed. Breakfast on the porch was a true highlight, with lovely views of the river and a good atmosphere. The staff were really good, especially when John helped us with a keypad issue as guests.

The keypad entry had a slight hiccup .

Elmwood 1820 bed & breakfast inn is a hidden gem. The beautiful king suite was spacious and beautifully decorated. Breakfast outside was a treat, with a cozy porch and a lovely view. The owner, richard, was accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure a nice stay.

The perfectly maintained, elegant decor took my breath away, with charming period features and eclectic art enhancing the ambiance. Breakfast on the veranda was enjoyable, but I found the early morning tea service at times a bit inconsistent. Nonetheless, Richard's warm hosting made our stay nice.

The breakfasts were exquisite, beautifully plated and bursting with flavor (that homemade jam was a delight!). The quiet surroundings offered a charming escape, and i loved the good porches.

more evening entertainment options would be nice 🤔.

The king size bed in the rooms is super comfortable 👑. You can also find coffee/tea making facilities, a seating area, and a couch bed there.

The staff here were amazing, so friendly and easy to talk to. Our room was stunning, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud, exactly what we needed! 😊.

So convenient being near downtown, the city center, and Washington, NC - all within arm's reach 🏙️.
